Our classes are taught by caring, qualified faculty in modern, well
equipped classrooms, and our online programs can be taken from the
convenience of your home. EMCC offers the free Adult Basic
Education Program (ABE) to individuals needing to refresh or
upgrade their skills in order to enter EMCC or other colleges and
training programs, gain or improve employment, or earn a GED
diploma. These free classes are designed for adults who are 17
years of age and older who are not enrolled in public school. East
Mississippi Community College is accredited by the Commission on
Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to
award the Associate Degree.
